What Fades Acne Scars?

Good question. Acne scars are a pain emotionally and can be a pain physically as well. Thankfully, you do have some options to fade acne scars. They are many and you may need to try several different treatments before you find one that works well for you. Let's have a look at what fades acne scars.

Acne scars fade when they are replaced with new skin that grows from underneath. So the key then to fading scars is to get the scar to be shed - removed. Surgeons do this with lasers or scalpels but there are much less sinister options available. Many creams on the market today can help you to exfoliate the skin and there are several other natural remedies as well that you might like to try.

One of the most popular ways is by applying a little lemon juice to the affected area. Squeeze a lemon's juice into a small bowl and then rub it on with your fingers. It will sting a bit since lemons are fairly acidic in natural. If it hurts too much then you might want to add a bit of water (not too much) in order to reduce those effects slightly. People have had a lot of success with lemon juice so remember that it can work for you to. You won't have clear skin immediately however you will reduce the appearance fast.

You might also want to use an exfoliating brush to speed the process up. These brushes are either designed for the skin or you could try something natural like a loofah sponge (my preferred option). Brush your skin twice a day to remove the dead skin and the other gunk that is clogging up your pores etc. The loofah doesn't hurt however you can still rub your skin red if you're not careful. Be especially careful if you have any present acne, as the loofah will sand them right off your face!

So there we are. Two excellent, natural ways to fade acne scar. While perhaps they might not be the most effective ways and fast ways, they will give you results if you want them to. This means doing the treatment twice a day for as long as it takes to reduce and fade the appearance. Remember to always apply common sense and especially do a patch test with the lemons first. Don't forget to add some water if needed.
