The Top 5 Natural Methods to Getting Rid of Acne Scars

There's plenty of ways to get rid of acne scars, and there's so much information available on the internet to choose from.

But you want to start working towards results NOW, right?

That's why I've compiled this list of the top 5 natural ways of getting rid of acne scars. So, here they are:

Water, and plenty of it. Skin hydration is essential for removing the ability of oil deposits being built up, and improves circulation to the skin
A balanced diet. Including plenty of fruit, vegetables and fish (for it's Omega 3, 6 and 9 fatty deposits)
Lemon juice. The way lemon juice can help remove acne scars is because the slight acidity lightens the dark blemishes left when acne goes. To use it, dab something porous, a cotton bud being preferential, into lemon juice and apply it to your skin.
Rose water and sandalwood can be effective as well. They help the skins regeneration when applied, though one of the main negatives is that it has to be left on over night and then washed off in the morning. Whilst it's worth trying, it's probably not wise to rest any hopes on treating acne scars with it.
Finally, an important way of removing acne scars from your face is applying essential oils, like Tea Tree oil, regularly to affected areas. The oil helps to protect the regenerating skin, promoting cell growth and aiding the healing process. Again, this isn't going to be an overnight solution, and instead will yield long term results.

While these are all brilliant as natural remedies, often acne scars are deeper and darker than they can actually counteract. So that's when you've got to resort to other methods, which may indeed be non-natural.

But whatever route you choose, remember that doing one thing doesn't mean you can't still do the other. What I mean by this is that you can still make sure you have a healthy diet and drink plenty of water alongside any other acne scar treatment you go for.
